Charuchandra College, Kolkata is one of the best colleges in India. The college was established on 1st October, 1947. The college has its history during the country's post- partition scenario when Dr. Satyendra Nath Roy and some other eminent academicians of Dacca University decided to eastablish a college for the migrant refugees from erstwhile East Pakistan in South Kolkata. Charuchandra College is accredited by NAAC and college and offers Arts, Science and Commerce programs. Since its inception in 1947 the college has achieved its goal into reality in the pursuit of the advancement of knowledge and all round physical and mental growth of students, by providing quality education with highly experienced faculty members.
