Co-Operative Medical College, (CMC), Cochin is one among the premier medical institutions in the Kerala state. The college is governed by the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education established by the Government of Kerala. The admissions and functioning of the college is according to the rules and regulations formulated by the Government of Kerala. Co-Operative Medical College is affiliated to Cochin University of Science And Technology. The college mission and vision is to improve the standard of medical education in the state and building out quality Doctors and provide Standatrd health care to the public at an affordable rate.

Classroom

  • All the classrooms of the college are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

  • CMC is well supported by a sophisticated Central Laboratory under which comes the divisions of Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, Hematology, Cytology, Microbiology, Histopathology, Immunology, Virology and Parasitology. These labs fully computerized and the sophisticated equipments which ensure accuracy and dependability of the investigations done.

Library

  • The central library has a floor space of 900 sq.m. There are 7220 books in the library and with more than 100 foreign journals. There are fifty seats for reading for teaching staff and hundred seats for students. There is an Internet connection available in the library and is accessible to all teaching staff. Photocopying service is also made available to both staff and students.

Hostel

  • Hostel accommodation is available for all the students. There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, with spacious rooms three, double and single bedded. Basic furniture is provided in the rooms. They also have common rooms for recreation facilities, reading rooms and TV room. Round the clock security is provided to all the hostels. Each hostel have a mess hall with seating capacity of more than 150 people and the mess is run by students themselves under a common dividing system.Stud
