College of Engineering Munnar is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The College of Engineering, Munnar was crystallized in form and substance in the year 2000 by The Center for Continuing Education, Kerala, a Government of Kerala undertaking. The college is dedicated entirely to the growth and development of professional education, industry, business and social upliftment. The college offers Bachelor of Technology in the feild of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
College has a well- managed placement cell, which imparts technical training to its students for the placement process. The placement cell of the college is managed by the student coordinators. The students of the college are trained by most experienced trainers in the country to improve their soft skills involving development of attitude and fine-tuning communication skills to express ideas and thoughts in most effective manner.
