College of Legal Studies is affiliated to University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. The College of Legal Studies (CoLS) at UPES offers graduate and post graduate programs for professionals keen to pursue a legal career with a specialization in corporate and energy law in addition to regular legal studies. The program is designed to develop future legal professionals with the acumen to guide clients and corporates through the intricacies of regulatory framework, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and other legalese.

Hostel

  • UPES provides hostel facilities to its students on a 'first-come first-served basis'. Outstation students are given preference for these facilities. Two new blocks have recently been constructed and will be ready by the time the new batch arrives. A separate reading room with latest magazines and newspapers has been provided in the hostels for the students to catch up on current affairs during their free time.
