It offers Post Graduation courses in Art and Science. Made under the Central Universities Act, 2009 (Section 25 of 2009) as Central University of Bihar (CUB) and the name subsequent to changed by the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014 to Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) is an establishment of higher adapting in the condition of Bihar. With the adage, i.e. 'Aggregate Reasoning' the University has been directing its scholastic and regulatory exercises from interim premises in Patna and Gaya and anticipating moving to the lasting grounds on a 300 section of land plot of area at Panchanpur (close Gaya town).
