The Delhi Institute of hotel Management & catering Technology (DIHM&CT), has been a center for excellence & an active testament to the commitment for the hospitality education. Itis the metamorphosis of Food Craft institute. Originally established in 1983 by the Ministry of tourism, Government of india in association with the govt of Delhi for coaching in trades & crafts in hotel & catering operations. 

The institute is jointly sponsored by, Ministry of tourism Government of India and Government of Delhi It is headed by a Board of Governors consisting of eminent persons from government and industry. This institute is affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management, New Delhi, which is apex body to control and conduct examination.
