Department of Agroforestry is a part of Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, Palampur.. The college offers under graduate and post graduate degree programm. Department of Agro forestry was initially started as an undergraduate teaching department during 1992 as the Department of Agroforestry and Environment in the College of Agriculture, The M.Sc. programme was initiated in July 2007. Department of Agroforestry and Environment was renamed as the Department of Agro forestry and Organic Agriculture in 2009.
