Department of Anatomy was one of the four blocks which were completed for the Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University, Lucknow at the time of ceremonial opening of the college building by Sir John Hewett in January 1912. It has various sections like embryology, gross anatomy, anthropology, radiology, surface anatomy, osteology, cross sectional anatomy, genetics etc.
