The Department of Anthropology was establishment with the aim of teaching at undergraduate level in Srinagar Garhwal Campus of the University. The Department has the distinction of having completed various research projects and input teaching both at the under-graduate and Post-graduate level as well as Ph. D, Level. In future the Department proposes to start the M. Sc in Forensic Science and M. Phil in Anthropology.
