The Department of Applied Aquaculture and Zoology is one of the best departments of Barkatullah University, Bhopal. It runs the courses of M.Sc. and M.Phil. Zoology and M.F.Sc. Applied Aquaculture. It also intends to start the course of M.Phil. It has made collaborations with a number of national and international research institutes for collaborative research. The students are sent to these institutes for completing their dissertation work. The Department attracts students from all over the country and thus commands National status.
