Department of Applied English is a part of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University. The focus of the Department is on multi-dimensional development of students.Modern technology like Language laboratory and other audio- visual aids are regularly used to equip the students with linguistic competence. The syllabus has been designed as per UGC’s latest model curriculum with the purpose to provide exposure and sensitivity to students towards literature and to prepare them for employability in other sectors, along with conventional teaching job.
