Department of Applied Physics is a part of Guru Jambheshwar University, started with the aim to cater the needs of Laser and Optics industry. We started a Master's programme in Physics with the thrust areas of Laser Technology, Fiber Optics & Optical Communication and Materials Science. In 2006, the department has started a novel programme of M.Tech. Optical Engineering. Both the courses offer opportunities to students to branch out into various specialisations.
