Department of commerce Dr. G.R. Damodaran college of science is affiliated Bharathiar University and approved by NAAC (NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL). The Department started in 1995 offers the 3 year undergraduate degree programmes of B.Com, B.Com (Computer Applications), B.Com (e-Commerce), B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship), the 2 year Masters and 1 year PG Diploma in International Business and the 1 year PG Diploma in Marketing Management, M.Phil programmes. The M.Phil programme was instituted in the year 2001 at the research level and SCIB also offers full time and part time Ph.D. Programmes.
