  • The department has specialized equipment like a bifricator, a radio-frequency ablator, a micro dermabrader, a micro pigmentation set, a chemical exfoliation set, liquid nitrogen cryotherapy and iontophoresis to carry out minor outpatient procedures.

Library

  • Department has an excellent library for the benefit of students, faculties and researchers. As one of the best established libraries according to International Standards, the University Library has a large collection of books covering various branches of Engineering and Technology, Medical and Health Sciences and Science and Humanities and its related fields.

Hostel

  • There are separate hostels for men and women on the campus, with all the necessary facilities.

ExtraCurricular

  • Students and faculty are actively involved in the medical camps conducted by the medical college. They screen people in the villages and in all colonies, factories and institutions located on the Tambaram-Chengalpattu corridor. Regular camps are held to treat the poor, and to ascertain and prevent commonly recurring skin disorders.
