Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences is the part of Allahabad University. The Depemartment Conducted several Courses in Thermodynamics, Mineralogy and Petrology for students and researches. Highly acclaimed earth scientists from India & abroad have been visiting since to teach, carry out research and collaborate in respective fields of Earth sciences. This department houses the most sought after High Pressure-Temperature equipments used in the study of rocks and minerals also related to material science.
