Department of Economics is one of the premier departments of this University in the Faculty of Arts and Commerce. The Department of Economics forms the core of first few departments with which the university started imparting quality education. The courses have created scope for further inter-disciplinary research and greater academic bonding with other departments in both Arts and Science Faculties as well as with institutions outside.
