Department of Economics, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University was established in the year 1970, is one of the oldest departments in this University.  Over the period it has recorded an excellent growth in terms of academics as well as in terms catering to the needs of the students who pursue their career in the subject of economics. Department offers master and doctoral degree programmes in Economics and Business economics.
