All the classrooms of the department are well furnished with all modern facilities.

The department have Electron Devices Laboratory, Computer Programming, Discrete Circuit, Materials Science, Digital Electronics, Telematics & Communication, Control Engineering, Integrated Circuit, Audio & Video Engineering, Industrial Electronics, Microwave, AI & Expert Systems, Image Processing, Device Fabrication and Modeling, VLSI CAD, Micro Electronics, Fibre Optic Communication, Micro-strip Antenna, Digital Communication and Circuit & System design Laboratory with lat

The central Library has over 598594 volumes of books on record (including the Salt lake Campus Library and those loaned to Departmental Libraries), 80,000 bound volumes of journals, 13000 theses and dissertations, and 37,000 items of non-book materials such as reports pamphlets, maps and micro-forms.

The university provides 13 (4 for Girls and 9 for Boys) hostels with provision for accommodating over 1500 students. Accommodation in both Women’s hostel and Boys’ hostel.
