Department of Eye established as part of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College. The department plans to start postgraduation in the near future. It also plans to acquire phacoemulsification unit, green laser and OCT unit, the process of which is already underway. The department will strengthen special clinics in glaucoma, retina, oculoplasty, squint and neurophthalmology.
