Department of Food & Process Engineering, SRM University is a part of SRM University and approved by NAAC. Department give training students in a broad based manner with equal focus on food engineering and food fermentation technology. The curriculum is designed to impart engineering knowledge in topics such as unit operations, crop processing, food preservation, food packaging and quality control.

  • Department has an excellent library for the benefit of students.

Hostel

  • There are separate hostels for men and women on the campus, with all the necessary facilities. Among the hostels on this campus, 9 are dedicated for men and 6 for women. All the hostels are well-equipped, with adequate ventilation and lighting facility. Each room is fitted with tube lights and fans, and each student is provided with a cot, chair and a table. Periodicals and newspapers are supplied to each hostel.
