The Department of Geography is fully dedicated to teaching and research work in different domains of the geography. Geography department is affiliated to the University of Jammu and accredited as 'A' Grade University by National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India. it is the only department in the country which imparts education, training, and research in Glaciology. Department of Geography imparts knowledge in Gromorphology (FLUVIAL and GLACIAL), Geoecology, Biomass, Assessment, Biography, Geography of the environment, Agricultural Geography, Pollution and Urban Geography, Regional planning and Development.
