The Post Graduate Department of Geology, arranged in the R.B.D. Laxminarayan Campus, Law College Premises, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur, was built up in the year 1946. The Department is always endeavoring at fortifying the land contribution of the nation by giving its learning bank through its 1500 postgraduates and 60 doctoral understudies in their different limits. The Department is giving examination direction prompting doctoral degree in different earth science branches extending from its fundamental branches of Petrology, Mineralogy to new fields of Environmental Geology, Remote Sensing, Sedimentology, Hydrochemistry, Micropaleontology and so on.
