The Department of Hindi is established in June 1993 and at present it has three staff members two Professors and one temporary lecturer with one Reader post vacant. Out of three all the three have secured Ph.D degrees. They are specialized in Poetry, Prose, Translation and Comparative study. The Department offers M.A, M.Phil., Ph.D. and Diploma in Hindi Translation, Certificate course in Hindi Nivedak. Courses. The intake capacity of M.A is 60, Diploma in Hindi Translation is 50.

  • University is having 7 hostels for Boys and Girls of Post-Graduate Departments of the University. There are 3 Boy's Hostels which accommodate 600 students and 2 Girl's Hostels which accommodate 350 students. Facilities of recreation, indoor & outdoor games are available for students of Hostel along with other routine things
