The Department of Hindi, west bengal state university started functioning from 2008 to impart higher education in Hindi Language and Literature. The aims and objectives of Master Degree in Hindi is not only to inform the origin and development of the language and literature but also to empower the students to understand the social, economical and cultural aspects of a particular period through the literature.
