Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya was established in 2005. Department can be called as a humble but a determined effort in the direction of Journalism with a Soul, fulfilling the pressing demand of value based journalism committed to be an effective tool of positive change in the society, nation and the world as a whole. Department offers bachelor degree, master degree, diploma course and post graduate diploma course in Journalism & Mass Communication.

Classroom

  • All the classrooms of the department are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

  • JMC Department computer lab is equipped with 26 systems with Internet facility. For print media students work on softwares like Quark Express, Photo-shop etc. and workout departmental newspaper at regular interval. Lab is also equipped with cameras for training purpose and video editing softwares like premium pro and sound forge. Students workout Radio and TV documentaries and other programmes on them. Hostel

  • The Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya which is vested with the authority of managing the Hostels for both Boys & Girls, has authorized the Chief Warden to manage the affairs of the hostels. The Chief Warden is assisted by a team of Wardens and a Superintendent and all of them are normally residents of the hostels. Maintenance of hostels and mess facilities is managed by the mess superintendent with the help of supervisory staff.
