Department of Law and Legal Jurisprudence Studies has been established in the year 2009 under the School of Law and Governance, Sikkim University. The centre offers seven years BA, LL.B., LL.M. course and credit based semester system of education. The course module has been framed by the Curriculum Designing Committee (CDC) of the centre on the line of recommendation of the Bar Council of India and University Grants Commission to be more participatory and responsive to social transformation.
