The Department of Laws is affiliated to Punjab Technical University approved by AICTE. The Department provides practical training to LL.B. students. One full paper of sixth Semester includes compulsory participation in two Moots, attachment with advocates in District Courts for seven to ten days and special lectures by eminent Academicians, Judges and Senior Advocates which are compulsory as a part of curriculum. Every year the students of the department are sent to the Supreme Court of India as a part of the practical training programme.
