Department of Marine Biology, Microbiology and Biochemistry is affiliated to Cochin University of Science & Technology. The Department has all the essential infrastructure for teaching, training and research in the basic and applied frontiers of these disciplines. The Department of Ocean Development has established an OSTC (Ocean Science and Technology Cell) in the Department to monitor research on Marine Bent hos. he Department of Marine Biology, Microbiology and Biochemistry is one of the first and foremost academic centres in these disciplines in the country.
