The department of Mechanical Engineering started in 1984, right from the inception of the institute, is one of the oldest departments of this University. The programmes of the Department are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The department organises programmes to provide the students with industrial and practical experience through training and project work in industries to meet the industrial requirements and face real life situations boldly.
