Department of Microbiology is a part of University of Kalyani. The vision of university is to establish a finishing school and training centre and exposure of the students passing out so that they become readily employable in specific fields. Microbiology has taken a unique position in respect of basic and applied aspects of food and dairy products, environment, agriculture, various industries and medical and public health.
