Department of Orthodontics is the department under Sri Ramachandra University. The Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics deals with all types of dental and skeletal malocclusion. This includes treatment with simple removable appliances, more complicated growth modifying appliances, fixed functional appliances, to fixed appliances.

Classroom

  • The department has a separate UG clinic, UG preclinical room and UG lab to do the laboratory procedures. The students are taught using teaching aids like study typhodont models and modern audiovisual technology using OHP and LCD projectors.

Laboratory

  • The department has separate PG preclinical room for preclinical exercises and an independent PG lab to do the laboratory procedures.

Library

  • The University Library has a rich collection of more than 29000 books, around 450 journals, 3528 thesis and more than 45000 back issues at any time between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on working days and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on holidays.

Hostel

  • The department provide separate hostel facilities for boys and girls.
