Department of Paediatric Medicine and Neonatology, SRM University is a part of SRM University and approved by NAAC. Paediatrics tunes a student's medical skills towards the health of infants, children and adolescents, their growth and development, and their opportunity to achieve full potential as adults.   • The Department has Modern Lecture Halls & Smart Classrooms.

Laboratory

  • The department has fully serviced outpatient and inpatient clinics to care for children who are the victims of diseases and other problems. The general pediatric ward has a bed strength of 60 and separate cubicles for treating children affected with acute gastroenteritis and infectious diseases. The clinics also have a laboratory, an emergency treatment room, a pantry and a library-cum-seminar room for instructing students.

Library

  • The Department has an excellent library for the benefit of students.

Hostel

  • The department provide separate hostels for men and women on the campus, with all the necessary facilities. All the hostels are well-equipped, with adequate ventilation and lighting facility. Each room is fitted with tube lights and fans, and each student is provided with a cot, chair and a table. Periodicals and newspapers are supplied to each hostel.
