Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a part of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. The Department holds the honor of being the first Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) in Uttaranchal apart from being approved by AICTE as well. The degree course in Pharmacy was introduced keeping in view its vast scope encompassing Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Administration, Academics, Product Management, Marketing and Research and Development and to explore the herbal wealth of the Himalayan region.
