Department of Physical Education is affiliated to University of Jammu and accredited as 'A' Grade University by National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India. The Department is headed by a Director and is provided with a learned faculty besides administrative and ground staff. Department of Physical Education started B.P.Ed One year Professional Course in the year 2002-03. The Department proposes to start M.P.Ed. Course in near future. The vision of the Department is in line with the quality policy of the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor. The Department of Physical Education aspires to make University of Jammu a Center of Sporting and Academic Excellence in the Country. The Department is bubbling with renewed vigour and confidence and there is synergy in efforts towards meeting the objectives.
