The Department of Physical Health and Sports Education was established with the aim to produce word class in Research, Consultancy, Training and Education. Physical Education has emerged as an important academic discipline imparting various courses of teacher education that include Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.), research in Physical Education and Sports Sciences. All the above courses are being run in the Department to cater to the need of trained leadership in Physical Education and Sports.
