Department of Physics and Electronics is affiliated to University of Jammu and accredited as 'A' Grade University by National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India. Department of Physics is the largest and one of the prestigious departments of the University of Jammu. It offers two Post-graduate courses at the Master's Degree level, one in Physics & other in Electronics. Besides it runs M.Phil and Ph. D. programmes at the research level. The admission in all courses of study is done strictly on the basis of merit.
