Department of Physics is a part of University of Kalyani and is accredited by NAAC with 'B' grade. The vision of university is to establish a finishing school and training centre and exposure of the students passing out so that they become readily employable in specific fields. The University ensures on the one hand, the development of excellence, and on the other, contribution of higher education through dispersion of knowledge to rural areas in an open and flexible system.
