Department of Political Science of the University of Kashmir was incepted in the year 1963. It is one of the largest and oldest departments in the University. The department comprises experienced teachers and scholars and staffs. Presently, Department of Political Science offers Master programme in Political Science. Apart from academics, the department takes participation in seminars and association with projects and offering consultancy to reputed research organizations both locally and internationally.
