Department of Psychology, University of Pune, is approved by UGC.The Department of psychology in University of Pune campus emphasizes an eclectic approach in teaching. The Department boasts of having one of the best laboratories in India and also has a strong tradition in research and teaching. The Department also takes a lot of interest in social causes and works for extension activities.

College Facility

Classroom

  • All the classrooms of the department are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

  • The Department is planning to enhance its existing computer laboratory for the use of computers for experiments and psychological testing in near future. At present the department has 14 computers. The department also have Laboratory for Experimental Psychology and Laboratory for Psychological Testing

Library

  • The university have a central library for all the departments.

Hostel

  • University of Pune provides hostel facility to both girls and boys. The hostel facility is granted to the students of the University strictly on the basis of merit. The number of seats for each department depends on the department size.

ExtraCurricular

  • The Department is contributing substantially for social cause. The staff members are actively involved in personnel selection, psychological testing, training programmes and various human resource development activities in industrial and public sector organizations, educational institutions, and defense institutes.
