Placement

Placement Cell forms an interface between the academics and corporate world. It helps the students in making better and informed career choices. With a view to streamline the communication process and address the requirements of students from different courses, faculty coordinators from various departments/faculties are associated with the central placement cell as "Single Point of Contact" (SPoC) to form a broad-based Placement Council. Heads of individual departments can send their nomination in this respect in accordance with the procedure approved by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor. • Organizational Sector- As HR managers in industries such as Trident, Infosys, Maniford Allianz etc. • Child Guidance Clinics-As Counselors in Family Resource Centers, Child Care Centers, School Counselling. • Health Care Settings- As Counselors in Medical hospitals, Red cross society and Voluntary Health Associations of Punjab. • Teaching- As teaching faculty at graduate and post-graduate levels. • Civil Services- As officers in the top ranks of the Indian Administrative Services. • Sport Institutes- The National Institute of Sports ( NIS ) Patiala has recruited our students as Junior Sports Scientists. • Army- As Lieutenants after clearing the Short Service Commission Board.
