The department of Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science came into existence to impart teaching at under and post graduate level along with research and extension. The department objective is to provides advisory service to farmers for soil, water and plant analysis, on the spot solution to the problems in the field and other farmer related activities.

  • Major activities of department are to impart teaching at under and post graduate level. The faculties are also engaged in departmental research, at present 5 experiments are in hand. In addition to this soil, water manures and plant samples received from the farmers and extension agencies are being analyzed on payment basis. The faculties are also providing guidance to the farmers by visiting their fields/sites and if required the soil/ plant/water analysis is also carried out for spot diagnosis
