Department of Studies and Research in Computer Science, School of Physical Sciences, Kuvempu University is affiliated to Kuvempu University. The department is actively engaged in research in the areas of computer graphics, mobile communications, digital image processing & pattern recognition i.e., design of algorithm for character recognition, face recognition, document analysis 3D object recognition. Also, the department has organized international conference on human machine interfaces-2004 jointly Touch lab, Massachusetts Institute of technology, Cambridge, USA during December 2004.
