Department of Zoology, Goa University offers education in the field of Zoology. The department conducts masters course in zoology with emphasis in the core areas and also specialization with respect to the recent trends and areas of local importance. The department is spearheading the cause of higher education in the animal sciences vis a vis vocational education in the applied/ allied areas of the discipline.
