Dhanvantri College of Nursing (DCON) is major project structured under URG charitable trust Erode. The college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council.  The college mission is to  build   all  round  and  overall  development  of  the  nursing  students  by  providing  balance  between  curricular and extra curricular  activities. And to organize  sequence  and  integrate  the  teaching learning  activities  to  explicit  and  implicit  curricula.

Classroom

  • All the classrooms of the college are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

  • The college has a state-of-art computer laboratory.

Library

  • The College Library has stocks over 4,000 books (text books, reference books) journals and magazines. The library has also e.-resources like (Ds/DVDs (240 no). Audio videos (50) and access to on line journals. The library has an archives section (over 60 issues) with back issues.

Hostel

  • The College has separate hostels for men and woman with mess facilities with in its campus.

ExtraCurricular

  • The college students are encouraged to participate in various Intra & Inter college programs to show their talents. The annual year had seen students participating in Thirukural vizha, Zenith06 Florum 07, Nurses day for which they have won various prizes. Students participated in oncology Quiz competition.
