The Dharma Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital is the first private Ayurveda Medical College in Tamil Nadu. It is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. The college offers Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery. Dharma Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital is the only Manuscript Partner Centre in Tamil Nadu recognised by the National Mission for Manuscripts, Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Library

  • The Library has old and new books encompassing all the disciplines, Ayurveda, Siddha, Yoga, Naturopathy as well as Modern Medical Science books in Medicine and Nursing. There are four separate halls, one each for Reference Section, Reading Hall, Computer Section, Journal and Traditional Science Section where Palm Leaf manuscripts are preserved.

Hostel

  • There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Girls’ hostel is situated in the college campus itself. Each student is provided with separate cot, almirah, locker and reading table. Filtered and purified water is supplied. Uninterrupted Power supply is assured. A 125 KVA generator gives 24-hour power backup for students for their regular studies.

ExtraCurricular

  • Annual Day and Hostel Day are held every year in the college premises. Cultural programmes are organised.
