Don Bosco College, Itanagar is an educational Institution of the Catholic Church belonging to and managed by the Don Bosco College Society of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Dimapur Province (registered under the societies Registration Act of 1890: No. 50 SR/ITA/4034). It is the first private Degree College in the State of Arunachal Pradesh. The College is permanaently affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh. The Salesians of Don Bosco is an international organization of men dedicated full time to the service of young people, especially those who are poorer and disadvantaged. Wherever we work, ‘Youth Resource Development’ through education is the focus of all our concern - because we believe that our total dedication to the young is our best gift to humanity. Founded by St. John Bosco, an Italian saint-educator of the nineteenth century, we work in 130 different nations. In India, we are presently working in all the states and union territories. Our works include State University, Engineering Colleges, Professional Degree Colleges, Academic Schools, Technical Centers, Pastoral Institutions, Reach out institutes, Shelter homes, etc. For us Journeying with the young is a part of the adventure of our Education.
