College Facility

Classroom

  • All the classrooms of the college are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

  • All the lab are well equipped with a total of 120 machines, in which 30 machines are dumb terminals connected to a Centralized Linux Server. The Server Operating System is Red Hat Linux 5.2 and all the dumb terminals are connected via LAN cables to dual module 16 port Multi Port Serial Card (Stallion Make). The students use these machines for C on Unix and for LEX (Lexical Analyzer) & YACC (Parser).

Library

  • The Institute has established a spacious library & Information centre in the main Block with an area of 750 Sqm. It has automated library House Keeping Operations by using SOUL Software.

Hostel

  • Students can stay in the campus in a well-furnished hostel. Hostel facility is provided for both girls and boys separately. The present hostels can accommodate 60 girls and 160 boys.

ExtraCurricular

  • The institute offers excellent opportunities and opening to promote student participation in a wide range of recreation and creative and activities The music and dance club ‘Octave’ was started for students to learn and promote the fine arts and bring forth the creative expression of the students. Opportunities for literacy expression are offered by ’Impulse’ an English Debating and Elocution club and ’Inn-Quiz-TiVo’ the quizzing clad. The Movie organizes regular screening of comedy films.

Placement

Training and Placement Cell at BVRIT plays a vital role in the College. As there are large numbers of Engineering and Management colleges in AP, the competition for employment is increasing every day and placement of students has become a challenge.
