Dr. Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology was established with the aim to develop manpower in the field of Engineering & Technology to pace with the industrial growth of Haldia. The Institute is well approved by AICTE. The academic programme & curriculum is affiliated & directly controlled by WBSCTE. The Institute is also under the direct administrative control of the Department of Technical Education & Training, Government of West Bengal.

  • The institute has well equipped laboratories and devoted teachers in different departments. Some of the teachers are dedicated and exerts their level best efforts to make the students familiar with the practical knowledge in respect of their industrial and academic back ground.

The total stock of books of different titles covering entire course curriculum of different fields of engineering is 3500.
