Dumkal Polytechnic was established in 2002 by Basantapur Education Society (a non-profiting social welfare organization) founded by Dr. Nazrul Islam IPS & a well-known littérateur of Bengali prose fiction and short story today.  Dumkal Polytechnic has been approved by AICTE and affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, is Offering Course Polytechnic.

Classroom

  • Class Rooms are spacious and each student is provided with a pair of chair and table.

  • College have Basic Electronics Engineering Lab, Electrical Engineering Lab, Engineering Chemistry Lab, Engineering Physics Lab.

Library

  • Central Library houses books on subjects of studies as well as on general interest. The library is designed to be an unique resource centre for our students who are preparing themselves for future. Now the Library has more than six thousands books with one thousand two hundreds titles.

Hostel

  • Basantapur Education Society has already built two Technology Halls for the Boy Students and one for Girl students of Dumkal Polytechnic. Other two hostels for boys are under construction.
