Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, is one of the best  business school of Banaras. Established in 1968, it is among the earliest Management Schools in India.  It offers Master of Business Administration (MBA 2yrs), Master of Business Administration(International Business) (MBA(IB)- 2yrs) and Master of Agribusiness Administration (MBA Agri 2yrs) duly approved and certified by AICTE. It was the second institute in India to offer degree in International Business Administration (after IIFT).It was ranked 3rd in terms of infrastructure,14th in terms of placements and 28th in overall as well as perceptual ranking of Top B-Schools - in a survey conducted by Business World. The entrance exam for Faculty of Management Studies is conducted through CAT conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) .

Classroom

  • All the classrooms are well furnished.

Laboratory

  • Institute has well equipped labs with all modern facilities. The faculty has a state of the art computer lab with the latest available software. The lab consisting of 50 computers is available for use to the students in class and non-class hours.

Library

  • The students can avail library facility both at the Department and at the university's central library. The Department Library spread over 1100 sqm is having seating capacity of 120 students. The Library is housing around 20000 volumes under more than 5000 titles. There are 100 journals of national and international being subscribed regularly.

Hostel

  • The institute provides full time residential facilities to its students. There is a separate hostel accommodation for both girls and boys. The hostels are equipped with WiFi technology and 27X7 power and water supply, newspapers and magazines, television and adequate mess facilities.

Placement

Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University has a placement cell that works closely with industry and makes systematic efforts to place the graduates. Placement assistance is provided to all students and Campus interview is a regular feature. Also students are provided with exposure, access and practical experience with an organization with the help of seminars and workshops conducted by the institute.
